A Musical Journey
Through the Fabulous
Fifties
Four singers (they’re sisters
too) are determined to make their debut
on “Spotlight on Music,” a national
television show, after traveling 39 hours by bus to New
York City from Muncie, Indiana, their hometown. Familiar and nostalgic
standards such as “Old Cape Cod,” “Tennessee Waltz,” “Where the Boys
Are,” “Fly Me to the Moon” and “Mr. Sandman” will bring smiles to the faces
of young and old alike. Peppered into the story line are period references to
Barbie Dolls, angora sweaters, hula hoops, 3-D movies and home permanents.
